Calling all artists, dreamers, and creatives! 🖌️ The McCook Creative District is launching a hands-on opportunity to design and paint your own mini-mural in our community this summer.

You will be provided with everything you need to create your first mini mural- training, resources, a wall and supplies. You can sign up individually or as a team. The mini murals will be up to 6’x6’.

📅 There are two mandatory workshops on April 28 & 30 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM (you are required to attend both).

Session 1: Kickoff + creative fun! Learn the mural process, get inspired, and sign up for your wall.
Session 2: Design workshop + next steps. Refine your idea, get feedback, and learn how to bring it to life.

Nebraska doesn’t always say “no”… it just responds in a calm tone, a flat horizon, and a silence that already made up its mind miles ago.

“That might work” means probably not, but we’re keeping it friendly. “We’ll see when the time comes” means it’s not coming. “That depends” means conditions are already against you. “I’d think about it” means it’s already been rejected, gently. “Good luck with that” means you’re on your own out there between two towns and 40 miles of corn.
