Pod bay 3

Pod bay 3 Control your model railroad with your Raspberry Pi. Each PiRyte interface board stacks on top of each other and your Raspberry Pi.

Pod bay 3 is the supplier for the collection of PiRyte interface boards, cabling and break out boards all working together to solve your unique model railroad controller needs. The break out boards and the cabling between them and the PiRyte interface boards allow you to wire up stall motors, relays, switches, etc... at far distances from the PiRyte/Raspberry Pi stack.

I'm having an exciting time creating new products. My newest creation is really inspired by the Ben Eater Videos on the SAP-1 computer. It is board set that you can buy to build the computer instead of relying on breadboards. It will be a two board set. More updates to come!

I'm continuing to add to my product line! Woo hoo!

Just added a board to use common, off the shelf computer power supplies to power the Raspberry Pi and my various project boards. Also, this board allows you to turn off the Raspberry Pi without the fear of data files becoming corrupted because they were in the middle of being written while the power is going off.

I had a busy week this last week. I was finally able to get some of my latest board designs posted for sale in my online stores.

Below are pictures of the four boards I added. The first picture shows them all stacked on top of the Raspberry Pi. The red and black wires supply 12 volt DC to run relays and motors. The second photo shows the individual boards. These boards are, starting clockwise at the top left corner: 8 digital inputs and 8 outputs, 8 channel stall motor controller to control model railroad switch machines, 16 digital outputs, and 16 digital inputs.

So you can mix and match these boards depending on your controller needs.

A little peak at something new I'm cooking up. :-)
