, Groundswell's powerhouse Employee Resource Group, tackled their flagship event, Savage Race, in Kennedyville, MD last weekend with gusto! (but that's expected) 🏃‍♀️💥 From muddy mayhem to wild challenges, they laughed in the face of adversity and came out ! They embodied the spirit of wellness for body and soul, conquering obstacles as a Team and building memories that will last a lifetime. 💪🏽🎉

Groundswell was delighted to accept an invitation to visit the George Mason University LIFE program recently. Mason LIFE is George Mason University's program designed to help individuals with neurodivergence to thrive in both academic and social settings. As a way to live out our commitment to inclusivity within the neurodiverse community, several of our team got to spend time in Mason LIFE classroom and experience first-hand the ways this program supports this community. This is a special program and it was an honor to spend time with 16 of their students to help prepare them for the working world, working through foundational elements such as reviewing resumes, professional headshots, and setting up LinkedIn profiles.

Together, we can create a world where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential. Let's reflect our world's true diversity and embrace the beauty of neurodiversity.

The team took on Savage Race Maryland a few weeks back. This made for a fantastic team challenge with nearly 7 miles of complex terrain, 31 awesome obstacles, and 3,100 ft of elevation change. Great job, everyone!

Groundswell teamed up with Herndon-Reston FISH to support their annual Holiday food and toy drive. The event offered assistance to over 250 families in our region. FISH has served the community since 1969 to help families cope with short-term financial crises by providing Friendly Instant Sympathetic Help.
