We’re honored to share that our alumni magazine design for Lasell University has received a 2025 American Graphic Design Award!

This recognition reinforces something we see repeatedly in higher education: editorial design still plays a critical role in alumni engagement.

For the past eight years, Ace Creative has partnered with Lasell University on Leaves, the University’s biannual alumni magazine.

We work year-round on this project, collaborating closely with the editor to develop creative briefs, storyboards, and recommendations for art and photography. This workflow allows content and design to evolve together—keeping each issue fresh and engaging while ensuring the magazine reflects the university’s mission, strengthens alumni connection, and supports development efforts over time.

We’re deeply grateful to our wonderful client and editor-in-chief, Samantha Mocle, a truly thoughtful creative partner, as well as the many illustrators, photographers, and writers who work with us to help bring each issue to life. And thank you to Puritan Capital for producing such a beautifully crafted printed piece.

And the final installment… year 3 of our environmental graphics for Match Charter Public School 😅😅😅 — this time at the Match High School in Boston.

We took a collaborative approach working with the students in the Leadership Council. We collected all of their ideas and created a lobby mural and street-facing window graphics. Students helped conceptualize and art direct the work, shaping graphics that reflect who they are—while also learning about the design process along the way.

With our recent website launch, Match now has an accessible, differentiated brand system that will support marketing, enrollment, operations, family communication, and staff for years to come.

These murals and graphics make the brand more accessible within physical spaces, strengthen school culture, and cultivate unity across campuses.

We're excited to share phase two of the work we did for Match Charter Public School! Check out the fun and uplifting environmental graphics we designed for the Middle School in Jamaica Plain.

For a 6–8th grade audience, we elevated the visual brand with more mature, bold typography and multilingual messaging. The window graphics at the school’s entrance help welcome students and set the tone for the day, while the lobby design reinforces the school’s positive core values for students and staff.

Tomorrow, we’ll share part three — the high school!

Over the past three years, we’ve worked with Match Charter Public School in Boston to develop their brand and bring it into their physical spaces with vibrant graphics we've designed across three campuses and a gym! 😅

We unified the brand visuals across all campuses through graphics on the exteriors of each building and interior murals in the entrances of each school—all reinforcing Match’s core values: Identity, Intellect, and Ubuntu.

We worked on every phase of this project—from conceptualizing the spaces, to helping define messaging, to all facets of design, and coordinating installation.

Here is part 1 of the of the project: the elementary school campus and gym. We designed fun, colorful, multilingual murals that reflect the community and help students feel seen, welcomed, valued, and excited to learn.

Designing these pieces alongside the newly launched website allowed us to bridge the digital and physical worlds of the brand and really bring the visuals to life—and into the daily lives of the students, staff, and families.

I’m really proud of this work and grateful to the amazing team at Match for trusting us!

So proud of this launch!!! We partnered with Match Charter Public School in Boston to solve a major challenge: three outdated websites, an inconsistent brand identity, and no intuitive pathways for current families, prospective families, staff, or funders to find what they needed.

Our solution was to design a fresh visual brand and build a unified, clear, and exciting digital presence. The new website finally brings everything together, showcasing the full K–12 Match experience under one digital umbrella.

We streamlined navigation, clarified recruitment and enrollment, enhanced family resources, and ensured the website reflects the real Match community — its students, teachers, and energy. The site is designed to be fully accessible, responsive across all devices, easily translatable, and ADA-compliant so every family can easily find what they need.

The result: a distinct, cohesive, joyful, and easy-to-manage digital presence that dramatically strengthens Match’s brand, differentiates it from competitors, and simplifies communications for everyone involved.

More soon on how this work expanded into full environmental graphics across all three campuses! 😅

The new movie has us revisiting one of our favorite projects we've designed this year—a gorgeous photo art book featuring rare, never-before-seen images of Springsteen captured by photographer James Fuller in the early ’70s, just as The Boss was becoming a legend.

Beautifully printed by , the book offers a glimpse into the making of a music icon, told through Fuller’s raw photography and the timeless medium of print.

But the best part of this project was working with the photographer himself—Jim. Jim is one of the kindest collaborators we’ve had the pleasure to work with. Seeing his joy and excitement as we reimagined his artwork from his college days 50 years ago was a true pleasure. It was an honor to help him realize this dream project.

Our design for the 2024 Speak for the Trees Annual report is out! This year's report does more with less: we streamlined the content to reduce page count (and paper use) while still delivering a vibrant, engaging snapshot of the impact this organization has made across Boston.

From planting and watering trees to empowering youth leaders and advocating for policy change, this piece captures the organization's story of growth and community.

🌿 Printed on 100% post-consumer waste recycled paper, carbon neutral.

NEW WEBSITE LAUNCH!! We're excited to share the brand new Food Waste Policy Hub, designed for Harvard Law School's Food Law and Policy Clinic.

As FLPC’s food loss and waste work expanded across multiple initiatives and collaborations, the need for a standalone site became clear. They needed a centralized, accessible hub to showcase the full scope of their leadership, resources, and impact in one place.

We truly love what we do—and this project is a perfect example of why. In designing this site, we learned so much about the role policy plays in solving food waste and ways we can all help. We're so proud to support this work.

The new site:
• Highlights FLPC’s thought leadership and national reach
• Makes a huge library of resources searchable by topic and geography
• Uses a clean, flexible, and future-ready WordPress build
• Invites collaboration, funding, and continued learning

For over a century, Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House has been a pillar of support in Cambridge, MA—helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges, find jobs, and access essential services like their food pantry. It was time for their brand to reflect that same strength, energy, and resilience.

We’re thrilled to unveil MFNH new brand identity, designed to honor the organization’s deep history while amplifying its bold vision for the future. The old brand lacked a strong voice, but the new one commands attention—celebrating the vibrancy of the community it serves.

🔹 Logo Refresh: We reimagined their logo, incorporating elements from the past while creating a mark that is modern, impactful, and uniquely theirs.

🔹 Website Overhaul: Their new website is built for efficiency, making it easy for staff to update volunteer opportunities, share programs, and connect with the community.

🔹 Color Palette & Typography: A fresh color system and refined typography will extend beyond the website—shaping upcoming renovations to the house and food pantry, bringing new life to their physical spaces.

We’re so proud to play a small part in supporting the incredible work Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House does every day.
