Digital literacy is no longer a specialized skill; it is a baseline requirement for participation in modern work and daily life.

The DigiSkills program is OneBridge Center’s vocational computer training curriculum for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It is built from the ground up for the way adults with IDD actually learn, individualized, self-paced, structured, and outcome-driven, and it covers the full range of digital skills that employers across every industry are looking for in today’s workforce.

A Month of Learning, Growing, and Caring for Our Earth

At Onebridge Center, our participants have spent the month learning about the environment and simple ways to make a positive impact. From exploring the importance of recycling to planting flowers and discovering how to reduce waste and reuse everyday items, each activity has been a chance to learn and grow.

These hands-on experiences build responsibility, creativity, and life skills while helping participants feel connected to the world around them.

We’re proud of all they’ve learned this month and excited to keep making a difference, one small step at a time.

Every April, we see more posts, more conversations, and more awareness about autism, and that’s important.

But awareness alone doesn’t change the daily experiences of autistic adults trying to find a job, feel understood, or navigate the world around them.

That’s where acceptance comes in.

At OneBridge Center, autism acceptance means recognizing differences, not deficits, and creating real opportunities for people to thrive. It’s something we focus on every day, not just during Autism Awareness Month.

Our newest blog post shares what that looks like in action and why it matters so much.

Take a few minutes to read and learn how we can all move from awareness to acceptance.

A day out in the community can mean so much more than just fun, it’s an opportunity to grow 💙

Our recent outing included stops at Summit Mall, Barnes & Noble, and Bob Evans. From exploring new spaces to sharing a meal together, every moment helped build confidence and connection.

Outings like these give participants the chance to practice real-life skills, navigating unfamiliar places, making choices, interacting with others, and trying new experiences.

Because every outing is more than just a trip, it’s a step toward independence and belonging.
