Tech901 is a Memphis-based nonprofit providing career-focused technology training built around industry-recognized certifications.

Tech901 is a Memphis-based nonprofit helping adults build technology skills, earn industry certifications, and connect to career opportunities across the Mid-South. Support from employers, foundations, and community partners allows us to significantly reduce the cost of training for our students. Our programs are designed for adults entering technology from different starting points, with clear pr

erequisites and pathways that build skills and certifications along the way. Courses are instructor-led and hybrid, combining live instruction with required in-person experiences, including orientation, labs, assessments, and certification exams. Students are expected to actively participate, meet course requirements, pursue certification, and stay connected with Tech901 as they move toward their career goals.

When Jenny joined Tech901, we were a fledgling organization working out the kinks. She helped us find our voice and build a firm foundation. At our Summer graduation, we took a moment to honor her service. 💙

48 hours and $100 are all you need to start a successful IT career. 📈

In 2025, Tech901 launched Tech Essentials as an optional introductory course to the IT field. This year, it became the starting point for all incoming students.

If you're new to IT, Tech Essentials gives you the foundation so you walk into IT Foundations already confident. It's a 4-week course that teaches basic concepts and terminology, as well as the different pathways available to folks depending on their certifications.

It has never been easier to explore what IT has to offer than in our Tech Essentials class. Apply to our August class before 8/15 by tapping the link. (Class starts Aug. 24th)
