Are quantum systems replacing classical ones? Not just yet. But in the future, it's possible.

Quantum systems work in tandem with classical systems to help enhance how we communicate, process, and measure both classical bits and quantum bits (qubits). Learn how from SRI Principal Research Scientist, Cale M. Gentry ⤵️

It's almost time!

June us this Wednesday, June 3 in Palo Alto or online in a conversation with Nobel laureate John M. Martinis and QED-C® executive director, Celia Merzbacher. They'll discuss:

✴️ The current state of the quantum ecosystem

✴️ Applications in the commercial market - beyond quantum computing

✴️ Manufacturing at scale — what a quantum-capable supply chain looks like & who is building it

✴️ The new wild west: startups, consortiums, VCs, government agencies, and big industry

Can we remove harmful gases from industrial facilities, plants, and gas turbines at scale?

Developed and tested for over a decade at SRI, our Mixed Salt Process produces an almost dry CO2 stream at high pressure, reducing both operational and capital CO2 compression costs - and has been successfully tested at the National Carbon Capture Center, demonstrating that the process is effective at engineering scale.

In 2021, MSP was licensed to energy company, Baker Hughes to research and deploy internationally.

Rural healthcare options around the country are becoming more limited as hospitals and other care facilities close and consolidate.

Under the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H)’s PARADIGM program, SRI researchers are developing a technology-driven mobile platform that can deliver advanced hospital-level care to every rural county in America.

And so far, the user satisfaction is far exceeding project expectations.

What if you could perform a surgery inside an MRI machine, taking advantage of real-time imaging to locate and destroy tiny sub-centimeter cancer lesions?

With support from SRI engineers and advisors, Sam Frishman, founder of Medical Devices Corner, is building a surgical teleoperation platform made of plastic-based, hydraulic-powered robotic arms that can operate within an MRI machine itself.

Have you caught up with our latest AI PARC Forum?

Author and The Wall Street Journal tech columnist Christopher Mims and SRI Education's Susan Patrick held an engaging conversation around AI's relationship and impact on educators, students, and everyday users.

Mims and Patrick discussed how we can leverage AI to improve productivity and strengthen workflows — so AI enhances critical thinking rather than replacing it at home, work, and in the classroom.
