Taylor Telecom

Taylor Telecom is a member-owned cooperative proudly serving West Texas since 1951. Taylor Telephone Cooperative, Inc. was formed in October of 1951.

What started with rural phone service has grown into fast, reliable internet and voice for homes and businesses across the area. Our purpose then, as it still is today, is to provide high quality telecommunication services to rural West-Central Texas. We provide service to approximately 14 exchanges, covering a 2000 square mile area, including 14 cities and 9 counties. We have successfully deployed fiber to the home (FTTH) to over half of our customers. While it is an extensive and costly undertaking, our goal is to deploy FTTH to all of our customers.

🚒 Supporting Those Who Serve Our Communities!

Congratulations to the Jim Ned Volunteer Fire Department on receiving a $3,914.43 Community Grant from the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS), in partnership with Taylor Telecom!

This funding will help replace outdated radios with new Bluetooth-capable units that integrate with firefighters’ breathing equipment, improving communication and safety while responding to emergencies.

We’re proud to support our local first responders and help provide the tools they need to keep our communities safe! ❤️🚒

Our Annual Meeting is a reflection of those values, bringing members together to celebrate the continued success of their cooperative.
