Taylor Telecom Taylor Telecom is a member-owned cooperative proudly serving West Texas since 1951. Taylor Telephone Cooperative, Inc. was formed in October of 1951.

What started with rural phone service has grown into fast, reliable internet and voice for homes and businesses across the area. Our purpose then, as it still is today, is to provide high quality telecommunication services to rural West-Central Texas. We provide service to approximately 14 exchanges, covering a 2000 square mile area, including 14 cities and 9 counties. We have successfully deploye

d fiber to the home (FTTH) to over half of our customers. While it is an extensive and costly undertaking, our goal is to deploy FTTH to all of our customers.

Our offices will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day as we honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Our team will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26. After-hours support will remain available for service-related issues.

We’re excited to announce that Taylor Telecom is sending two local students to Washington, D.C. for the Foundation for Rural Service Youth Tour this summer!

Through this incredible opportunity, they’ll meet students from across the country, learn about rural broadband and leadership, and experience our nation’s capital firsthand.

Each year, Taylor Telecom proudly supports our local students by awarding twenty $5,000 scholarships to help them pursue their future goals.

The Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) is excited to announce that we have awarded $185,000 to 60 students from rural communities served by members of NTCA - The Rural Broadband Association. The total represents the largest single-year scholarship investment in FRS history.
