This course is delivered through the ArmyIgnitED program at no cost for US Army active duty, reserve and national guardsmen. The course is a self-paced program preparing students to pass either CompTIA Security+ SY0-501 or EC Council’s Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA) Certification Exams. It introduces the fundamentals of cyber threat intelligence analysis and advanced network security including compliance and operational security; threats and vulnerabilities; application, data, and host security; access control and identity management; and cryptography. The course covers new topics in network security as well, including psychological approaches to social engineering attacks, Web application attacks, pe*******on testing, data loss prevention, cloud computing security, and application programming development security.
