Some call it Spinning Beach Ball, others Spinning Wheel of Death. Officially, it’s called the Spinning Wait Cursor. Doest matter what you call it, if you see this constantly, you computer may need some attention. Find out some of the reasons why you are seeing this is how to fix it.

The most basic reason the beach ball appears is because your computer's hardware can't handle the software task at hand. It's not unusual to see the occasional spinning beach ball when you computer is performing complex computing tasks. In another word it means your computer is busy performing a task.

Most times if you are seeing this constantly could be some issues with the software or hardware. If this is due by software issue, it could be caused by some third party software that is installed and running on your compute’s background or it could be caused by the Operational System (OS) that controls all the computer tasks.

If this issue is caused by software you may need to address that third party software installed on your computer or reinstall the Operational System.
