After careful consideration, we have made the decision to close The Neptune App. Effective Wednesday, April 8th- the app will go dark and all user accounts and data will be permanently and securely deleted.

To every Neptunian who believed in what we were building: Thank you for being here, thank you for believing first. Neptune was built for those who refuse to be silenced, to be ordinary. And you all proved that this was the right community to build for. Thank you.

We will miss you!

Hey Neptunians,

We wanted to take a moment to address some recent news regarding our team and discuss what the path forward is for us as a brand, and you as our community.

Ashley Darling, co-founder of Neptune, has stepped down from her role as CEO. Going forward, she will continue serving exclusively as Chairman of the Board.

Co-founder and CTO Chris Jones will serve as interim CEO to ensure a smooth and stable transition. His leadership will be critical as we prepare for our next phase of growth.

The Neptune app remains in active development, with our full team focused on expanding features, refining the experience, and supporting our growing community.

We are more committed than ever to building an incredible app for you.

Neptune is still coming—very soon. We’ll let you know the moment it’s live in the App Store and ready to welcome you in.

Neptune vs TikTok — not a battle, just a different vibe.

We’re building Neptune to give creators more control, more transparency, and more ways to connect and grow.
Think: customizable profiles, direct support from your community, and topic-led discovery that makes sense.

We’re not live yet, but we’re aiming for iOS launch in June 2025. Android is on the roadmap too — we’ll keep you posted as we go.
