TradingView has thousands of free trading strategies, and most traders never find them.

1. Log in and go to Community, then Indicators and strategies.

2. Filter the list to Strategies, open-source only.

3. Pick one and copy its source code.

4. Don’t trade it as-is. Once a strategy is public, anyone can find it and trade it, so any edge won’t last.

5. Paste the code into ChatGPT, Claude or Grok and have it rework the entries, exits and timeframe until it’s yours.

6. Forward test 10 to 20 versions at once by sending their alerts to AlphaInsider. Paper trading, but better.

7. In a few weeks you’ll know which to cut and which to keep. Automate the winners.

Comment “AUTOMATE” and we’ll send you the video on automating the testing, and then the trades.

+22,289% since 2008, with no stop-loss. This strategy looks almost too good to be true…

The idea: buy the S&P 500’s strongest stocks when they stumble, and sell on the first bounce.

1. Only S&P 500 stocks above their 200-day average.

2. Only the top 20% by 6-1 month momentum.

3. Buy when RSI(2) drops under 15 and the stock closes near the day’s low.

4. Sell on the first close above the prior day’s high, or after 20 trading days.

5. Up to 10 positions, at most 2 new ones a day.

The twist: plain dip-buying with no momentum filter made +316% and lost to SPY’s +644%. Only buying the leaders is what made it work.

The catch: it runs at up to 2x leverage, has no price stop, and its max drawdown was −38%. It’s also sensitive to trading costs. A realistic expectation is closer to 27% a year than the headline.

It’s now paper trading on AlphaInsider, so every trade is public. Comment “STRATEGY” and we’ll send you the link to follow it free.

Hypothetical backtest, Jan 2008 to Oct 19, 2026, trading costs included. Past results don’t guarantee future returns. Not financial advice.

TradingView buried the one setting that actually places your trades for you.

It’s the webhook inside Add Alert. Point it at a Strategy Home on AlphaInsider and every signal your strategy fires gets tracked in real time, verified by third-party data feeds.

Nothing goes live until you want it to. Watch the verified results first, then hit auto trade, connect your broker, and let it run.

Comment “AUTOMATE” and I’ll send you the full walkthrough.

I asked an AI to rank every crypto strategy from last month — the winner wasn’t the one with the biggest return.

Top return was 26.4%, but it came with a 23% drawdown. The strategy that actually won: a 3 EMA trend following system, up 15% with only a 5% max drawdown.

Drawdown is the number nobody checks until real money is on the line, and you can run either one live in your own bot.

The crypto strategy of the month wasn’t the one with the biggest return.

I had Grok scan the last month of crypto strategies and rank them on return AND max drawdown. was up 15% with a 5.64% max drawdown. was up 26% with a 23.42% max drawdown.

Drawdown is the number nobody thinks about until they’re trading live with real money.

TradingView is hiding a button that automates your trades. Here’s how to find it and wire it up in 6 steps.

1. Hover your strategy’s name on the chart and click the three dots.

2. Click Add alert on your strategy and set the expiration to open-ended.

3. In Notifications, tick Webhook URL and paste AlphaInsider’s webhook link — it’s on the Connect to TradingView page.

4. Delete TradingView’s default message and paste AlphaInsider’s alert template in its place.

5. Create the strategy on AlphaInsider, then add its strategy ID, stock ID and API token to the template.

6. Forward test on paper, then connect a broker and hit Auto Trade.

Heads up: webhook alerts need a paid TradingView plan. The AlphaInsider side is free.

I let ChatGPT rank every trading strategy from the last month — here’s what it came back with.

It pulled the top 5 stock strategies with the 1-month return AND the max drawdown next to each one, plus links so you can verify them yourself.

All 5 are free to access and copy.

Comment “SKILL” and I’ll DM you the link plus a guide on installing it.

TradingView buried the one setting that actually places your trades for you.

Three dots on your strategy → Add Alert → check the webhook box → paste the URL. Every signal that fires gets sent out and executed, no manual clicking.

You can watch the verified trades and run the strategy with real money on AlphaInsider.

Here’s how to turn one sentence into a trading bot in 6 steps — no code, and no TradingView.

1. Go to alphainsider.com/resources and scroll to Connect AI Agent.

2. Copy the install prompt and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude or Grok. It installs the Strategy Creator skill on its own. On a web app, upload the ZIP through the skills menu instead.

3. Start a fresh chat and describe your trading idea in plain English. Typing works. Dictation works better.

4. Answer its questions. It turns your idea into exact rules and writes them to plan.md. Read it before you confirm.

5. Ask for a backtest. You’ll see the equity curve, the drawdown, and how it stacks up against just holding the index. (Mine lost to buy-and-hold. That’s the point of testing first.)

6. Create a key in Settings → Developers with the AI Agent preset. It paper trades on a schedule from there, and you can connect a broker once you trust it.

Here’s the install prompt so you don’t have to retype it:
“Install the latest alphainsider-strategy-creator skill from https://github.com/AlphaInsider/skills for use in future conversations. Confirm where it was installed and whether it is ready to use.”

The skill and the AlphaInsider account are free. You’ll need an AI plan that supports scheduled tasks to keep it running.

Comment “IDEA” and we’ll send you the full video walkthrough — building a strategy from one sentence, backtesting it, and putting it live.
