New Malware Scam if you recieve any email from a lawyer office 'Green Winick' Notice to Appear in Court this is a scam. Delete the email and do a virus scan.

Got to the shop this morning to find that my phone is not working. Called the phone company on my vonage line and they said it was an outage throughout pomeroy area and possibly won't be fixed till the 7th. So if anyone needs me call 740-444-4641

If anyone calls you and says they are with windows or microsoft do not let them have access to your PC. They are only going to cause you trouble. By either locking you completely out of your system or by accessing your banking information.

BEWARE WOW check this OUT. This phone number NWYRCYZN01 NY 646-559-6131 called both the house and shop today. It was a man with a heavy Indian accent telling us that our computer was infected with malicious software and someone had attempted to hack into the system. He wanted to have remote access to the computer to 'Clean' out the infections. After he talked to us for about 15 minutes we told him that he had called a Computer Shop and we would be reporting his number to the Sherifff's Office. This call is a scam. Do not give out any personal information.

There is a scam going around. It is called 24x7 Help. It's an Icon that appears on your desktop looks like a person wearing a headset. If you click on this icon it'll bring up a window saying you have a problem with your computer and a phone number for you to call. Again this is a scam they say they are from Microsoft and are certified tech's. But in order for them to clean out the pc you need to send them 250-299 dollars. Also there is another scam similar to this one where someone will actually call your home and claim you have a virus. Please do not give out any bank or credit card information if this should appear on your PC or you get a phone call.

Beware there is a new type of virus/malware going around. It's called Ransomware. If you get something on your PC/Laptop that states it's from the FBI and has locked your computer, it is a virus, a scam do not give them your money. Please bring your PC/Laptop to us if you need to remove this ransomware. Again this is a scam do not give them any of your money.
