If there’s a word that leaves a bad taste in people’s mouths regarding SEO, it’s Backlinks.

Tons of fake SEOs offer to give you tons of backlinks for cheap - but you have to consider that there is a reason for that.

A good backlink profile takes time to build up for your website - because it should be relatively natural. We want real, quality websites to link to us so that Google sees us as a real, quality website ourselves. This is the ultimate challenge of SEO - how do we build authority by getting quality websites to link to us!

The verdict is in: only having a bunch of reviews doesn’t cut it anymore!

If you want to show up in the Google Map Pack, you need to have recent (good) Google reviews. If you haven’t gotten a new review from a customer in a month or two, now would be a great time to reach out to some of your previous customers and ask!

did an intense survey of the top local SEO experts in the country and put out the list of their top local ranking factors.
The very top ranking factor for organic search was having a dedicated page for each service! When I build websites for our local Lubbock businesses, I always recommend doing this. It’s important to have a focused topic for each service page so Google knows what to serve the searchers!
