Raise your hand if you've never checked whether Amazon owes you money.

Spoiler: it probably does. Most FBA sellers are owed $300 to $5,000+ from lost units, damaged stock, unrestocked returns, and fee overcharges.

But some claims expire after just 60 days, so waiting until after peak season means auditing money that already aged out.

Run the 5-point checklist in the carousel. Recover the cash. Fund a smarter Q4 with RestockPro Plus.

Fun fact: Amazon probably owes you money right now. 😎

Lost units. Damaged inventory. Returns that never got restocked. Fees charged on the wrong weight. For most FBA sellers it stacks up to $300 to $5,000+ just sitting there unclaimed.

The catch? Some of those claims expire after 60 days. After that, your money stops being "unclaimed" and starts being "Amazon's."

Do the audit BEFORE your Q4 inventory buy, not after. Recovered cash you find in October is inventory you don't have to finance in November.

Amazon sellers, memorize this number: 400. 📌

That's the IPI cutoff. Fall below it and things get real:

A. Your storage gets capped
B. Your restocks get limited
C. Overage fees start stacking up

And it always seems to happen right before Q4, when you need that space the most.

Here's the upside: it's fixable, and staying above 400 is way easier than digging out from below it.

We spelled out what happens and how to protect your score, minus the Amazon jargon.

Every SKU is a profit engine.

Our founder and CEO Jay Legarde sat down with Michael Maher (Cartology) to talk about what really keeps Amazon brands profitable, especially when the marketplace changes fees and rules without warning.

The one habit he says every seller should build: look at every SKU on a set cadence and ask, is this making money or quietly leaking it?

Simple. Not always fun. Always worth it.

Plot twist for Q4: you can have a record sales month and still run low on cash. 😅

Here's the part nobody warns new sellers about. Amazon pays on a 14-day settlement cycle. You make the sale today, the money lands in your account up to two weeks later. But Q4 doesn't wait, your reorders don't wait, and neither do your bills.

That is the settlement gap. It is not a profit problem. It is a timing problem. And timing problems are the fixable kind.

Smart move: map your cash on a 14-day delay BEFORE Prime Day and Black Friday, so you're never choosing between restocking your best SKU and covering payroll.

We built a free Q4 Cash Plan Calculator to do exactly that. Drop in your numbers, see your real cash timeline, and head into peak season with a plan instead of a prayer.

How Much Inventory Can You Actually Afford to Buy Before Q4?

Amazon Q4 inventory planning starts with cash, not your sales forecast. Model the 14-day settlement gap before you size your peak-season PO.

Amazon is always changing... fees, programs, policies, sometimes down to a single child SKU.

Our CEO Jay Legarde has been in the Amazon game since 2006, and his take is refreshing: your job is not to chase every change. It is to turn the noise into signal and stay focused on the core things that make you money.

Every SKU is a profit engine. Watch it, and you protect what is working.
He covers the whole playbook with Michael Maher on the Cartology channel. If you're a seller on Amazon, this is worth a watch!

Q4 cash won't stretch to cover every SKU. Stop pretending it will. 😅

The move isn't "fix everything." It's scale first, then fix.

Feed the SKUs already earning margin. Let the winners compound. Deal with the maybes later, and cut the dead weight loose.

We mapped out what to scale, fix, or stop restocking before the peak-season crunch.
