Polishing up a pair of custom/prototype mastering-edition RMSB5T Vacbax tube equalizer modules. The faceplates turned out a little funny, but the relay-based function switching and stepped controls are dreamy.

Working on a custom “Mastering Edition” RMSB5T Vacbax tube equalizer module for a customer.

When replacing an audio-taper potentiometer with a stepped switch, you can calculate what the resistor values should be to replicate the response, but the calculated values never behave as predicted!
