Tom Boschwitz, who has served as General Manager of Advantage Grassroots Software since its inception, will join Buzz360 as VP of Growth. His experience scaling voter contact infrastructure nationwide aligns perfectly with the next phase of growth for Buzz360 and SwipeRed.

After years in software—both in the private sector and the public sphere—I’ve seen a lot of trends come and go. I’ve helped architect scalable systems, migrated legacy infrastructure, managed vendor transitions, and sat through and done more product demos than I care to count. You get used to the cadence: design, build, deploy, optimize. It’s meaningful work, but after a while, it takes a lot to really surprise you.
That changed the moment we turned on our predictive models for identifying political advocates and community influencers.

It wasn’t just another feature release or incremental improvement. This was different. Suddenly, we were looking at a system that could analyze networks, behaviors, relationships, and engagement patterns—and tell us who among thousands of contacts had the most potential to drive action. It wasn’t guessing; it was knowing. And not based on vanity metrics or reach—but on real relational influence.

What made it even more real—and a little surreal—was seeing familiar names surface in the results. Friends. Neighbors. People I personally know as activists, advocates, and influencers. They were showing up in the system, flagged not by me, but by the model—for our customers to build their relational organizing teams around.

I had one of those rare “this-changes-everything” moments—the kind I hadn’t had since the early days of cloud or mobile-first design. For someone who’s seen countless software lifecycles, to be genuinely awed again was unexpected—and deeply energizing. We weren’t just building software anymore. We were unlocking the hidden architecture of human connection. And that, to me, is the most exciting frontier we’ve crossed in years.
