🌻 Favorite Friday - Decorating Edition
A tutorial on thrifting and shopping local!
This wall in my bathroom is my favorite. It’s old beadboard that already had plenty of nails in it. I painted the rest of the room, but this was the perfect “spicy mustard yellow” so I left it.
The first few times I decorated I used the existing nails creatively. When I wanted to add a new piece I finally realized, with a naughty thrill, that I could just go ahead and add a few nails. No stress of needing the nail to be in the exact place. No asking my husband, the best and most precise picture hanger, to hang anything. No fussing with Command Strips (although the invention of Command Strips has changed my life - what a time to be alive!).
Just a few nails and some personal treasures. A wall of memories.
