The first event of the 2026 QC Corporate Games is officially in the books!

Team Rouse & Restore kicked things off with:

We should probably address the fact that we accidentally built a small wildlife resort outside the RCG office.

What started with one squirrel named Harold showing up daily for snacks has now turned into the official RCG Wildlife Observation Deck.

Current visitors include:
🐿️ Harold & the squirrel crew
🦝 A raccoon with questionable intentions
🐦 Several birds
👀 And whatever else decides to stop by

Yes… there are umbrellas.
Yes… there are picnic tables.
Yes… there is a live stream.

Honestly, we’re just along for the ride at this point.

As organizations grow, systems are added to support new processes and workflows.

Each one serves a purpose.

But the connections between them aren’t always reworked along the way.

Over time, that leads to inefficiencies that aren’t always obvious.

Data doesn’t flow cleanly.
Processes take longer than they should.
Teams rely on workarounds to get things done.

Everything still functions.

But it’s no longer operating as a cohesive environment.

That’s often where the biggest opportunities for improvement exist.

Friday’s Leadher Golf Outing was a great day filled with networking, community connections, and plenty of fun on the course! ⛳️☀️

RCG was proud to be this year’s breakfast sponsor and support an event that brings together and empowers women throughout the Quad Cities business community.

Thank you to Lead(h)er and everyone involved for putting together such a fantastic event. We enjoyed spending the day with so many familiar and new faces and are already looking forward to next year!

Security is often measured by what’s in place.

Firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection.

But what’s less obvious is how those controls actually work together.

Access points expand.
Users change.
Systems evolve.

And over time, security becomes a collection of configurations rather than a coordinated approach.

That’s where gaps tend to form, not because protection isn’t in place, but because it isn’t aligned.

Understanding how security is structured is just as important as what tools are being used. ✅
