Special shout out to one of my favorite clients, Sis Renita Lavender!

Why? She challenges my creative skills not most of the time, but all of the time, and I love it! Her visions are not the usual norm, and I'll say that I never get it right on the first draft.........lol. I appreciate her for not settling for the wow, but the, "Boom, Bam, and Pow!" For the youngins' you have to watch the old school Batman & Robin to understand that last statement.

I'll add more designs to this post, but my favorite is when the Lavender's celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary and I had the honor to design their program for their anniversary celebration.

I appreciate her pushing me to that next level, where most of the time it's out of my design spectrum, but as I use to tell my Mom when she played the organ, "Make it Funky!" Yes, I'm silly when I'm sleepy, but those who know me heard me say that several times.......lol.

The Aliquippa & Vicinity United Ministry presents the, "7 Last Words," which will kickoff Friday, March 6, 2026; 7:00 pm @ Ebenezer AME Church, 1015 Davis Street, Aliquippa, PA 15001.

Rev. Linda Taylor of Greater Emmanuel AMEZ Church and Rev. Jumar Mike of Christ's Kingdom Ministry Center will be the guest speakers. Rev. Deborah Avery-Widget is the Worship Leader and the Host Pastor.

The members of Ebenezer AME Church will be busy for the month of August.

We will be celebrating our Men & Women's Day, which will be during Morning Worship on Sunday, August 10, 2025; 11:00 am. Our guest preacher is Rev. Mark Tookes, Senior Associate Pastor at Macedonia of Pittsburgh. The theme is "Coming Together On A United Front," and the scripture is Galatian 3:28.

Also, the Men of Ebenezer invite all to their BBQ, Saturday, August 9, 2025; 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm. The menu is the following:

*Ribs or Chicken Dinners - $15
*Dinners come w/2 sides (Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Collard Greens (With or Without Pork), or Pasta Salad.
*Ribs or Chicken Sandwiches - $12
*There'll be deserts (Cakes & Pies)

Lastly, the Women of Ebenezer will be hosting a Tea, Saturday, August 23, 2025: 11:00 am. The guest speaker is Amy Diane Ellis of Total Rehabilitation, LLC and the them is, "Health Is Wealth."

Our Pastor is Rev. Deborah Avery Widget and we're inviting all to spread the word and attend!
