Mastermind Monday – March 23
Tonight was a real behind-the-scenes working session… part strategy, part troubleshooting, and part “figure it out as we go” energy.
Also… recovering-from-being-sick brain was in full effect 😅 but we still made solid progress.
What we worked through:
• Funnel cleanup and structure
We walked through the webinar funnel step-by-step
Opt-in → video sequence → questionnaire → booking
Identifying friction points and simplifying the flow
• Webinar improvements
Breaking content into 3 clear parts for better engagement
Improving opt-in page copy (less overwhelming, more readable)
Tightening messaging so people actually take the next step
• Questionnaire + booking flow
Simplifying the form so more people complete it
Clarifying the transition into booking a consultation
Removing unnecessary steps that slow people down
• Tech troubleshooting in real time
Echo issues, mic setup, and device limitations
Chromebook limitations vs upgrading to a better system
Why the right equipment actually matters for production
• System and tool decisions
When to simplify vs stack more tools
Google Workspace pricing confusion and what’s actually needed
Keeping calendars updated so automations don’t break
• Content + marketing strategy
Book funnels vs webinar funnels (and why they behave differently)
Using a free book to attract actual buyers
The importance of vertical content alongside long-form assets
• QR codes and asset cleanup
Identifying broken QR links going to old pages
Plan to rebuild them inside the system for tracking and control
Making sure everything actually points where it should
• Automation + pipeline thinking
Tracking where people are inside the funnel
Using trigger links and follow-ups to keep people moving
Building systems that don’t rely on constant manual effort
• SMS and compliance
Why texting isn’t just “turn it on and go”
Approval processes, compliance, and how to do it correctly
Using text strategically (not spamming links)
• Course and offer refinement
Reviewing the diabetes course structure and workbook
Positioning it for more sign-ups and better reach
Identifying gaps like the consultation offer that still need to be built
• Real talk moments
Working while sick
Feeling like progress stalled… but didn’t go backward
That weird in-between where nothing breaks, but nothing moves either
Big takeaway:
This wasn’t about adding more.
It was about:
– Fixing what’s already there
– Making it actually work
– And removing the friction that’s quietly blocking results
Messy, practical, and very real.
