Theme nights have been announced so its time to get ready with your theme night tees! These tees are a fundraiser for the CVHS & CVMS Cheerleaders! Proceeds from each order are donated to the Cheer Organization.

Today was a reminder that god sends you blessings in mysterious ways.

Sweet Maria came in to see if I could fix this flag they’ve walked with in San Rocco for many many years that had “Famiglia” spelled “Familia” and she was hoping to have it fixed. Initially I said well idk if I can do anything without it being permanent but we will have to get a red piece of fabric and I can print the text on that and then attach it to the flag somehow with safety pins or something, and we were chatting about different things (she’s hilarious and reminded me so much of my great grandmother) and she was getting ready to leave to go find some red fabric at Michael’s and it hit me that I had some Tackle Twill (that I purchased last year for sweatshirts that I never made) and I said hold on I think I have an idea 💡 I showed her the fabric and she said absolutely let’s do it!

I typed up the text, we double checked the spelling and I ran the red through my laser to get the letters outlined so I could place them straight, and then laser cut the white letters. Used some fabric adhesive and heat pressed it all together.

I had zero confidence that I could do this for her and thought how horrible it would be if I messed up their flag but somehow here we are and their family can again use it in the parade this year with the spelling she wished for.

I’m so grateful that I have the ability to use my skills to brighten someone else’s day, whether it’s making a fix to a flag like this or any of the other things I do. It makes me happy to see others happy with my work.

Okay I think I’m done moving things for awhile 😂 I ended up moving my dtf printer to the circle and putting both heat presses next to each other with the help of a friends muscles to get it on it’s new cart 😎 so much more functionality!!
