🚨 SCAM ALERT: Publishers Clearing House Fraud 🚨
Attention, friends and neighbors: Be on the lookout for a Publishers Clearing House (PCH) scam that’s been targeting unsuspecting individuals in our community! 🛑
Here’s how it works: 1️⃣ You might receive a call, email, text, or social media message claiming you’ve won a large prize.
2️⃣ They’ll ask you to pay fees, taxes, or provide personal information before claiming your "prize."
3️⃣ Sometimes, they’ll even use official-sounding language or fake documents to convince you it’s legitimate.
⚠️ Remember:
PCH NEVER requires payment or personal financial information for prize claims.
Legitimate winners are notified in person or by certified mail.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
What to do if you’re contacted:
✔️ DO NOT share personal or financial information.
✔️ DO NOT send money via wire transfer, gift cards, or other methods.
✔️ Report the scam to local authorities and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
