Positions to fill— Infrastructure Technician

Bowsher IT Solutions is growing the infrastructure team and looking to hire 2 people for this position. The candidates will be responsible for hanging conduit, pulling fiber optic and cat 5/6 cabling, splicing fiber, terminating cat 5/6 (patch panels, cable ends, keystone jacks), hanging poly boxes, installation of network devices (security cameras, wireless access points, wireless radios), installation of server/network racks, and assisting the managed services team with break/fix and maintenance on infrastructure in production. Experience is preferred but not required, OTJ training is available.

This position at times will require the candidate to work in aerial boom lifts or in the elements (gear provided) and sometimes travel with an occasional overnight stay. Must be able to work with a team and be self-motivated with a proactive approach.

Compensation package will include the following:

Very excited about this post! For the first time we were able to work with Bowsher Excavating LLC to do a fiber job! Thank you Liberty Landfill for the opportunity! We ran and spliced fiber to extend their network to a new rack in a new office building for their employees.

Thank you White County Animal Wellness Center and Dr Samantha Bunnell for trusting us to do all of your infrastructure and IT work in the new building! This was a first for us we were able to do a complete build, some of the structured cabling as well as the rack, network gear, Wi-Fi APs, cameras, phone system and even installed Ring security. We also relocated and setup all of the computers and Server.
