In classic ‘visible productivity’ fashion, I set myself up for a quantity-over-quality trap with my 2024 reading list. 📚

Ironically, it took reading Cal Newport’s ‘Slow Productivity’ to recognize what I was doing. How fitting that this realization comes as I create tools to help others work more intentionally.

Real life moment with Daisy... let her wade without her life jacket and had to fish her out of the creek. If you look closely, even my hair is wet. She treads water well, but can’t figure out how to use her hind legs to propel her forward. I hadn’t realized that the drop off was so steep I wouldn’t be able to wade in after her. Actual swimming was involved in getting her out. She was none the worse for wear and immediately wanted to get back in. Swipe for a few days later when we remembered the life jacket. She’s my little doodle mermaid!
