Most teams rely on one of two approaches to scheduling:
Self-scheduling and templated scheduling; both require manual balancing.
Both solve part of the problem—but none solve all of it.
• Self-scheduling gives a feeling of control, but creates gaps and introduces bias.
• Templates are consistent, but inflexible.
• Manual balancing takes manager's time away from leading.
That’s why managers still spend hours fixing what’s already been built.
The issue isn’t effort. It’s the system design. There's a better way!
