I have never been much of an Apple fan because their products are overpriced and they are proprietary; which is good and bad. Having said that, this is going a bit too far. If you think you have any privacy when you buy a new Mac, think again. I can only assume the article below is true. Hi big brother.

Are you tired of Google tracking everything you do? Here are a couple of things you can do to mitigate your leaving web tracks.

Change your search engine to DuckDuckGo. DuckDuckGo is a search engine much like Google but they do not track your searches or sell your data to other companies.

If you are looking for a free anonymous email account, try Proton Mail. It is an encrypted email platform from Switzerland. They also do not track usage or sell your data.

There is a browser worth looking at also. it is Brave. The Brave browser is also good for online privacy.

know I posted not to long ago about this same subject but I am re-posting because I can not begin to tell you how much difference putting a solid state hard drive makes as far as updating your older computer.

If you have a good processor and a decent amount of memory in your computer, a new solid state hard drive will extend the life of your computer and make it much faster.

I built my computer in 2008, I put in a decent processor and decent memory. After using the computer 2 years, it took about 15 minutes to boot up. About 6 years ago, I replaced the platter hard drive with a solid state drive. My computer now boots up in 30 seconds and that hasn't changed it the 6 years since. I have no reason to think about buying or building a new computer.

IT MAKES THAT MUCH DIFFERENCE!
