So, I know it's been pretty quiet here for a while. It doesn't mean nothing's been going on, it's actually been pretty overwhelming all of the amazing events and organizations we've been honored to help out with and be a part of over the past couple of years. The funny thing is it never seems to slow down and more and more keeps coming our way which we are thrilled about. Expanding our vision and outreach has been more rewarding than I ever imagined and I'm excited to see where the future takes us. We've been a part of the WVU baseball leadoff dinner this year, the Bob Huggins fish fry, we held our 5th annual chocolate wine and Shine festival, and now are getting ready to support West Virginia Public theater with the Motown Mardi Gras tonight and the North Central West Virginia home builders association with their home show in just a couple of weeks.

Back in November we were honored to facilitate and put on the inaugural Rural Revival project concert here in Morgantown with Oliver Anthony. The money that was raised that night and the impact felt by those who received the support was eye opening, and I think it helped a lot of people realize that even more could be done. This past weekend I spent about 18 hours in Spruce Pine North Carolina, a town that was devastated when hurricane Helene hit last fall. Water levels were 40 ft above normal and 50% of the downtown businesses were gone. Having the opportunity to sit down with community leaders and citizens on Monday brought me to tears, amazed by the spirit and their willingness to roll their sleeves up and continue to do what needs to be done to rebuild their community. 5 months after the tragedy and they are just now starting to see a little bit of financial support and relief - That's the real tragedy in all of this.

We are once again honored to participate and help facilitate the next Rural Revival Project concert in Spruce Pine, to be held on April 5th. Oliver and a number of his close friends in the music industry are coming together to again raise awareness and financial support for a community that desperately needs it. Tickets will be going on sale soon, and they will be limited due to the fact that the event will be happening in the small downtown area. We will ensure that donation opportunities and fundraising opportunities are available online as well for those that can't attend but want to support. This is the first of many and what I believe will be truly impactful events in communities that desperately need a spotlight put back on them. The will and grit of the people I sat down with on Monday is unrivaled, and we are going to do what we can to just give them a hand up.

It’s game day in Morgantown, so let’s talk all things !

For Million Dollar May, Baseball has a campaign goal of $62,500. Their first match of $1,500 is from an anonymous donor at $1,500 raised. At an additional $2,500 raised, Guidon Creative will match $2,500. Baseball then has other matches at $3,500, $5,000, $15,000, and $35,000 afterward.

Let’s get the ball rolling for baseball as they play Penn State tonight at home. Good luck, guys!
