5 immediate GREEN flags in an interview:

1. Their reference check says "they never had to be micromanaged."

2. The candidate casually mentions picking up extra projects to help the company.

3. The candidate gives concrete examples of when they took initiative to improve a process at their last job.

4. The candidate talks about mission-alignment being important to them.

5. They speak positively about their last job/boss.

Employers love to see signals that show the candidate they're talking to is someone who's going to come be an asset, and not just collect a paycheck. Make sure to keep these in mind, next time you schedule an interview!
