Kicking off this week with a new brand mark reveal for the designing women of Proper House - Moultrie. 🖼️

A special monogram and beautiful logo conveys the elevated spirit of the wares in the store and the high level of expertise you’ll receive from the owners while shopping.

Aiming to open just in time for Mother’s Day this weekend, the shop is a fantastic addition to downtown Moultrie!

PROGRESS* Now that the branding has been finalized for DeRosso Sewell CPAs, I get to have some fun applying the brand and making assets!

Today, I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for this sign to be installed in the lobby of their new office space. As a designer turned signmaker turned brand specialist, it is ultra gratifying to watch the logo and branding come to life in such a literal BIG way.

Yes, that’s right, Concept No. 2! 💫

This is the second suite concept presented along with the concept posted yesterday. Between the two, this was definitely the winner and the one that we carried through into the deeper design process.

Here I was inspired by wool suits and parchment, and decided to take the vibes in a more senatorial direction. The client preferred the navy/gold color palette (going along with their new office decor) as well as the more traditional font choices. This monogram mark and pattern is fun, but ultimately not The One, so we revisited the more simple DS mark from the other brand suite to incorporate into the final designs.

The clients trusted the process and I was glad that I prepared two concepts, resulting in a collaborative outcome. I’ll be posting the actual final visual identity and more projects for D&S next!

I love brand reveal days! So first let me say congratulations to DeRosso Sewell, CPAs on their new partnership! - I also love showing the process of creating these concepts, even the ones that don’t make the Final Cut. In this case, I accidentally created a pretty awesome suite for a luxury hospitality brand when presenting Round 1 of brand ideas. 🤣

The color palette is leather, to***co and smoke. The DS monogram pattern feels like a luxury fashion wallpaper or pocket square. The signage is sharp and readable, and the fonts work so well on screen. So this is by no means a loss. When presenting two ideas, one will always get left behind, and I take away some useful notes for future reference. 🖤🤎🩶
