To my valued clients,
For the past 25 years it has been both a pleasure and an honor to build and grow Redbird Internet Services. Recently I have had to make the very difficult decision to part with what I have built. As of August 1st, NexGen Access has acquired Redbird Internet. I am currently assisting them to make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone. Nexgen, with their greater resources, aims to provide even better access in the coming years. To all my customers past and present, I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to assist you with your internet needs. My family and I have always been grateful to each of you for your support over the years.

Tonight’s storm has power out for much of the county. Some sites are still up and running on generator and battery power. Other sites may be down till power is restored. Hopefully the power company can get things back up quickly.

Three will be a a brief outage in the Edison area while i replace a piece of equipment that I believe was responsible for saturday evenings outage. It should only be down 3 to 5 minutes.

I will be doing some equipment maintenance tonight after midnight that may cause some outages. I anticipate only a few brief outages of no more than 5 minutes each.

For those with apple products having a security error window pop up for the mail server it is because the security certificate on the mail server was updated yesterday. Apple products appear to not read the new certificate until you completely close the mail program and end the task then reopen it. It may be easiest to power down your ipad or iphone then turn it back on to accomplish that. The androids and windows computers do not seem to have that issue.

If you are getting an error saying redbird.net can not be verified please edit your mail setting to say the server name is mail.redbird.net not just redbird.net. You may have to do that for incoming and outgoing seperately.
