Is your password a welcome mat for hackers? Everyone hates seeing "Your password expires in 5 days" and having to come up with a new password that you will actually remember!

Did you know a 15-digit numerical password can be cracked by a computer in just 6 hours? Simply adding a period at the end changes that timeframe to ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND YEARS! (It's true! Fact check me here: https://www.security.org/how-secure-is-my-password/ )

Passwords 101:
* Use different passwords for different accounts.
* Lengthy passwords are ideal, no more 4-digit pins!
* Don't use personal information.
* Avoid using meaningful or common words and sequential numbers.
* Use a password manager to securely keep track of your passwords.

PTS is happy to have been a repeat supporter of Area 7's 30th Annual Golf Outing hosted by Marty's Bar & Grill! The rain on Sunday did not deter 144 golfers from golfing 18 holes or stop volunteers from grilling over 250 hot dogs and manning the silent auction that had dozens of items donated by individuals and local businesses. A great day for a great cause!

We are seeking an IT technician with experience with IT business environments who wants to help support IT infrastructure for small businesses. We are looking for someone who likes being part of a small laid back group excited to build a growing business.

This is a fast-paced role where you get to have personal relationships with coworkers and clients, working with multiple clients and helping them troubleshoot issues and built out infrastructures.

This role will include:
- Support for Apple and Windows workstation software
- Troubleshooting and repairing desktop and laptop hardware
- Handle support requests from clients and end users
- Remote help desk support for clients and end users

Job Requirements:
- Experiencing troubleshooting Windows OS 10, 11
- Experience troubleshooting MacOS
- The ability to learn on the fly
- Basic experience with setup and support of Office 365 and G-Suite
- Basic Experience with remote management solutions
- Hardware experience
- Experience with small business networks
- Knowledge of networking equipment (switches, patch panels, VLAN routers, firewalls, VPN, etc.)
- A desire to help people
- Willingness to research and present solutions for clients and internally
