Leveraging current technology to improve safety – Convergent3D creates software solutions using current tech and hardware that is already in use by the military. They do this because the goal is to develop solutions that can be implemented now vs waiting on technology to catch up (an AI based solution for example).

Stereoscopic imaging is a technique used to give flat images a three-dimensional effect. This adds necessary depth and creates a more natural viewing experience to what would otherwise be dull, static images. Our eyes do this for us naturally in a normal viewing environment. Convergent3D uses this technology to create a much clearer image for military vehicle drivers.

Which military vehicles are most at risk of vehicle rollovers? The MRAP series is much taller and has a much higher center of gravity than the HMMWV series of vehicles and I think this is a major factor.

Military.com wrote an article about 6 Military Technology Breakthroughs to Look for in 2019. We ended up seeing very little of these technologies implemented in any operational capacity.
