October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, dedicated to honoring survivors, caregivers, advocates, and organizations making a difference in the fight against breast cancer.

We’re proud to recognize Donna Hainesworth RockmoreRockmore, a dedicated DNP employee of 30 years whose influence extends well beyond the workplace.

Together with her daughter-in-law, Katelyn Hainesworth, Donna co-founded Westmoreland Breast Friends, a nonprofit supporting individuals and families affected by breast cancer. Motivated by their own cancer journeys, they launched the organization to offer advocacy, education, and a supportive community for those facing a diagnosis.

Their story recently received national attention on The Jennifer Hudson Show, where they shared their commitment to ensuring no one faces breast cancer alone.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we celebrate Donna and Katelyn for transforming their experiences into a mission that brings hope, resources, and support to others.
