Reagan + Josh’s fabric welcome sign at their ceremony entrance was the first I ever did and I remember texting my mom right before I pressed the first piece and asking her what to do if I screwed it up. She hit me back with an LOL and told me I’d figure it out - I always do.

She wasn’t wrong, it turned out perfectly, but it was a reminder that this industry is all about figuring it out. It’s part of why I love it so much. I get to plan and organize until my type a is satisfied and then I get to have artistic liberty when designing for my couples.

Reagan and her mom, Wendy, will be a mother daughter team I’ll never forget and I had so much planning this day with them!

If you’re getting married outdoors, in the South, between April and September - you’re going to want a fan for your guests. March and October weddings need them too, but it’s not as much of a sure bet weather wise.

Wedding programs that double as fans are the most popular option my couples choose but there are so many varieties out there today that there is no excuse for making your wedding guests sweat it out.

And just as a reminder that program fans don’t have to be squared or rectangle, we can do them in almost any shape.

It’s anniversary weekend for Reagan + Josh and I’m a year overdue to share pieces from their beautiful wedding day.

They chose a classically simple invitation with a sketch of of their wedding venue, The Sonnet House, and a mixed font combo. Amira Script was the perfect choice, and the black text on off white stock gave it a beautiful formal touch.

Addiecphotos used one of our featured linens from the day for the flatlay background which is one of our favorite things to do. Rosewood Dahlia from BBJ La Tavola is a romantic floral print in dusty pink on an off white backgorund.

These amazing wedding invitations have been hitting guest’s mailboxes over the last week and it’s a suite that I’m dying to share. Dusty Rose envelopes addressed in white with a moody, painted floral liner, die cut invite and response card on felt stock.

I sourced these 2017 “Flowers From the Garden,” forever stamps because they were perfect for the color palette and overall mood of the suite. I don’t care one bit if a small number of guests even notice. For the ones who do catch that detail, they’ll appreciate it enough for everyone.

These aren’t regular wax seals - they’re cool wax seals. But seriously, check out these 3D sculpted hydrangeas wax seals that just graced Emily + Jarrett’s Fall wedding invitations.

I’m excited for their wedding day for lots of reasons but you better believe their invitation suite will be the first thing I’m sharing come October.

Football season is right around the corner and gameday stickers are one of my favorite details of a Fall wedding.

The options for these are limitless and I can turn them around in about a weeks notice, so even if your wedding is soon let I know how I can help! And yes, we can do shapes too 🧡💙

One of my routines before I travel is going through my phone and clearing out photos. The thing is what usually happens is I find pictures from wedding days that I take and forget about. This is one of those pics.

Anne Lauren + Ty’s May wedding was full of rich greens and soft blues, with prints and stripes making appearances here and there. We incorporated their Ingram-Everson colored monogram on the slim koozies and a vintage monogram for their first names on the olive koozies.

I’d have totally taken one of each, how about you?

I realize it’s still hotter than the surface of the sun outside but in design land, Fall is HERE 👏🏼 October suites are finishing up design details and some have already hit mailboxes, with November weddings hot on its tail! These colors plus the usual greens have been popping up everywhere and I’m here for it. (Swipe for color names)

Being a stationer is also a little like being a secret keeper, at least for a little bit. Knowing what a couple is doing before even their closest friends is fun! I love hearing a bride say her friends won’t believe the colors or style she chose.

I know I’m a broken record at this point but it’s true - your wedding invitation (or save the date) is the first glimpse into what your day will be like; Do. Not. Let. It. Be. Boring. 👏🏼
