The August issue of PASSing Notes is out.
It has been a hard summer. The water came up fast here in Indiana, and storms hit sites across the country all season. What we kept seeing was people showing up for each other. Neighbors in each other's basements. Crews driving out to sites that were not theirs. That is what this issue is about, and it is why the cover art is the morning after rather than the storm.
Inside: how long UST records actually have to be kept, which is not three years and is not one answer. Why Class C operator training has no federal expiration date, and why that is harder than it sounds. And an honest look at what it costs to still be running the binder behind the counter.
Labor Day is Monday. Whatever this summer asked of you, we hope you get the day off.
