Cultivation Network is proud to be a part of the Volunteer Tennessee Corporate Social Purpose (CSP) Network. Jenna serves as their volunteer Communications Director. Are you a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) representative for your organization in Tennessee? Message Jenna to learn more or visit https://www.linkedin.com/company/volunteer-tennessee.
The CSP initiative managed by Volunteer Tennessee, the Governor’s commission on volunteerism and service, is designed to bridge the gap between the private sector and community needs across the state. Instead of focusing solely on traditional "Corporate Social Responsibility" (CSR), the network emphasizes Social Purpose—integrating community impact into the core identity and operations of a business.
The network serves as a collaborative hub for Tennessee-based companies to:
⭐Share Best Practices: Exchange strategies for building effective employee volunteer programs and community investment models.
⭐Foster Partnerships: Connect businesses with local nonprofits and government agencies to address specific regional challenges (e.g., education, disaster relief, or public safety).
⭐Professional Development: Provide access to specialized training and workshops, often highlighted during the annual Tennessee Conference on Volunteerism and Service-Learning.
⭐Recognition: Encourage participation in awards like the Governor’s Volunteer Stars Awards, which honors businesses for outstanding community involvement.
This network is for CSR professionals and HR managers; Business owners looking to start a volunteer program; Company "Green Teams" or community engagement committees; and Nonprofits seeking to understand how to better partner with corporate donors.
