What happens when a designer joins an all-women’s adventure retreat in Yellowstone? A brand concept inspired by real moments, and not one solely based on a mood board.
Last year in May, I joined an all-women’s adventure group on a trip to Yellowstone National Park. 🦬 I thought it would simply be a chance to disconnect, recharge, and soak in some beautiful views. Instead, it became one of the most uplifting experiences I’ve had — full of easy conversation, shared laughter, and the kind of connection that happens naturally when you’re surrounded by women who love nature as much as you do.
Those moments became the inspiration behind TrailKind.
A passion project inspired by sisterhood, nature, and the kind of camaraderie that makes you feel seen, grounded, and supported.
I pulled visual elements from the environment that shaped the experience — mountains, rivers, sunlight, earthy tones, worn textures, and a mix of strength + softness.
The identity is meant to feel warm, grounded, and adventurous. Something that celebrates women who like to hike, explore, and grow through shared steps. 🥾
This project reminded me why I love branding in the first place:the best brands come from real stories and lived moments — a reminder that inspiration usually shows up when you step away from the desk and into the world.
