Summer tasting room traffic creates a lot of chances for wineries, but it also creates a lot of missed ones.
A guest can have a great tasting, connect with the story, buy a few bottles, and still leave without joining the club. Not because they were not interested, but because the team was busy, the patio was full, or no one made the next step clear in the moment.
That is the hard part about club acquisition during peak season. The opportunity is often there, but it does not wait around.
For wineries, this is a good time to look at the handoff between a great guest experience and a club signup. Is the offer easy to explain? Is the signup process simple? Does the team know when to bring it up without making the guest feel pressured?
Summer traffic is valuable. The wineries that make the most of it are usually the ones with a process ready before the rush hits.
