Tonight I spent the first Christmas Eve in our home without my life partner and the love of my life.
This was the time we spent together wrapping the children's gifts. I have to admit Garnett did all the wrapping and I merely kept her company and watched the joy in her eyes. I can truly say, this was one of the highlights of her life.
Garnett was a person who truly got her Christmas Cheer from the joy she was making for her family, I shared her joy each Christmas for Five Decades. There was only one Christmas Holiday we were apart and that was our first! This is our first Christmas Eve apart except for when I sang at our Graduation
