🧠 UX + Information Architecture Focus

We launched this site for Carpet Services Incorporated a few weeks ago:

👉 The hours (and months) spent on UX and information architecture before design ever came into play.

CSI has been serving Chicagoland since 1979 with a wide range of flooring services—from carpet and hardwood to large-scale commercial installs — which meant one big challenge:

How do you organize everything in a way that actually makes sense to the user?

That’s where the real work happened:
✔️ Structuring the navigation so users can find what they need fast
✔️ Labeling pages in a way that matches how people actually search
✔️ Mapping out the flow of residential vs commercial users
✔️ Designing layouts that guide visitors instead of overwhelming them
