[ ] Walk through this case from a screening mammogram that the radiologist was about to read as a BIRADS 2 (benign), but took a closer look due to the high case score from ProFound AI.

While exploring the scan more closely to see why there was a high case score, he saw enough irregular margins within one marked area to justify calling her back. In the spot CC, the lesion was much more pronounced. In the ultrasound, he found a 7mm mass with irregular margins buried in dense tissue, and it turned out to be a Grade 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.

[ ] This 46-year-old woman with scattered fibroglandular densities for screening. Family history of breast cancer (mother, age 66).

Screening DBT with group of BI-RADS category 4A coarse heterogeneous calcifications in left subareolar region. No masses on ultrasound. Pathology showed 12mm grade 2 DCIS that was ER+ PR+.

📢 Clinical Study finds that iCAD’s ProFound AI Enhances Detection and Accuracy in 3D Mammography. In this peer-reviewed clinical study by Dr. Joshua Nepute from Indiana University, et al, recently published in Clinical Breast Cancer, highlights the real-world impact of using ProFound AI in digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT).
