Current favorite guitar pedal - Take Your Time by LCO Industries (you can get one now, but do it soon cause he only has a handful!)
This is a beautiful and subtle and entirely useful REVERB + DELAY pedal. There are 3 modes, and while the first two are very classic and nice sounding, that seem to sit in a mix so nicely, the third mode is wild! It’s difficult to describe but it does sort of a glitchy, warbly, synth-like, shimmery effect that is actually pitch specific. It’s very cool and very fun and inspiring.
This is made by my good friend Zack, who has worked with me on a bunch of stuff over the years, including running lights for my band on tour, building pedals, powder coating, printing, and design. I’ve actually had this on my main pedalboard for a few weeks, and to be honest, it’s the first pedal I click on. I really only put pedals on there that I really love and use, and this one is probably gonna stay for a long time. It is reminiscent in some ways to my friend Bryan’s Quiet Theory Prelude pedal, but definitely has its own voice and sound. It’s just subtle and useable like that.
I notice this about myself, that I tend to take pictures of things that I really love, and let me just say that this is only SOME of the photos that I have of this pedal. I shot these when we visited Zack in Maryland a while back.
Go check out this pedal. Read more. Listen to some demos. And if you’re looking for a new ambient toy, this is a great one!
