It’s been brought to my attention that it’s apparently employee appreciation day today, so since I was able to go full time with my business at the end of last year, I wanted to give a special shoutout to a few of my key employees who were vital in allowing me to do that. It’s been a good past couple of weeks here at Daily Tech Solutions. I’ve been very privileged with the opportunity to work on a really cool variety of different things. Some of the more notable recent jobs have been an Xbox Series X logic board replacement, a Cisco router installation, a small cabling job and new VoIP phone replacement for a restaurant in NW Arkansas, and a drive through kiosk replacement for a fast food restaurant in Vinita, OK. One of the things I love about this line of work is the variety and how many cool, different things I get to work on from job to job.

Had a customer bring me a laptop with the beloved Windows “blue screen of death” problem and was stuck in an automatic repair boot loop. In this case, the original hard drive that was in the laptop had ended up failing, so I was able to swap in a new PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD with a fresh install of Windows 11 and they were good to go.

I, again, have done a horrible job of consistently posting updates, but a while back we were able to knock out a small cabling job, and we've done a few computer repairs in recent weeks (not pictured).

It's been an exciting past few weeks for our family as we welcomed the arrival of our newest addition and little helper - I took some time off to enjoy our new little guy and spend some quality time with family. I apologize for some missed calls and delays in getting back to email and messages! That being said, I'm starting to get back into the swing of things, now, with some more availability opening up. I know pictures of anything IT related aren’t generally exciting or fun to look at it, but it has been exciting to work on this data cabling job for Missouri Southern State University. They needed some network cables ran for some security cameras, a wireless access point, and a couple of workstation data drops for a recent room remodel, and I was honored they chose Daily Tech Solutions to do it. We still need to get the cameras mounted and some other finishing touches done, and we’ll have this job wrapped up in no time.

We can handle anything from commercial/business cabling to residential and personal computer/tech support and repair, so there’s not much we can’t tackle! Don’t hesitate to give me a call and see if there’s anything I can help you with!

It's been a while since we've posted again, so here's a quick update on a few different things we've worked on recently. We've had a camera installation, TV antenna installation, as well as some PC repair/upgrades (hard drive cloning/replacement, SSD upgrades, motherboard swap, basic software installation, and more).

I know it may seem a bit unexpected to say that people and building relationships is a big part of why I'm in the tech support business, but this man right here is a prime example of that:

This is Sunny. Sunny is arguably one of the coolest, most interesting guys I've ever met. Sunny is 83 years old, and to my knowledge, he holds the record for the oldest person to hike The Appalachian Trail. He's an avid hiker, and he became familiar with this area during one of his hikes along Route 66. Sunny is here visiting some friends for the summer while he's writing his second book about some of his adventures, and he started having problems with his laptop. Sunny turned to Google to find a computer repair shop, and that's when he found me. I was able to meet Sunny one evening after work, and I had his laptop fixed and ready for him the next day. I'm grateful Sunny trusted me with his laptop, but I'm even more thankful I had the opportunity to get to know Sunny and make a new friend along the way.
