MediaNow is a Knightscope Authorized Partner since 2000. These Level 5 autonomous security robots are designed and built in the USA. In 2001 MediaNow added Knightscope security devices to our GSA schedule. The force multiplying impact of 4-HD cameras, LiDAR, 16 microphones, thermal, license plate, cell phone, mobile device and people detection, drew immediate interest from military, government and public sector security professionals. However, in a world of zero-trust, some contracts were suspended pending official certification. We are proud to announce that as of January 2024, Knightscope autonomous security robots have achieved FedRamp Authority to Operate. MediaNow has been awarded the first two government contracts for Knightscope robots. At this time, all military branches, US agencies and public sector entities can consider deploying Knighscope devices to take their security efforts to the highest level of AI and Autonomy. Over our 18-year history MediaNow has provided video wall installations from Times Square in New York City to the US Pentagon. However this installation completed over the winter at the Monmouth Cave, National Park in Kentucky, was by far the most remote installation we have delivered. The 18ft display was installed at the outside amphitheater within the park. The 1.5mm SMD display was sourced from American LED. Controls are Nova Star-TAA and MediaNow proprietary, The Monmouth Cave is the longest cave in the world and enjoys visitors and performing artists from all over the world. Recently, MediaNow had the privilege of designing and building a multimedia training room for the US Navy at Lakehurst. The room's main feature is a 26ft Planar 1.5mm video wall. The wall is augmented by a 86in, Planar touch-panel. The images are driven by an Analog Way, Live Premier presentation system that is controlled by Crestron. Audio is Dante digital mics and DSP with Crown power to JBL Speakers.

MediaNow Delivers first Knightscope Security Robot
to the VA Healthcare System in Texas

MediaNow (VOSB) has delivered the first Knightscope autonomous security robot to the Police at the Audie Murphy VA Medical Center in San Antonio Texas. This was a GSA procurement.. The Knightscope K5 unit that was deployed is fully mobile and autonomous as it patrols indoor and outdoor routes. The Knightscope robot carries a full complement of crime deterring and safety enhancing systems, including: 360 degree real time 4K cameras, people / motion detection, thermal sensors, two-way intercom and other force multiplying tools. All data collected is anonymous and in compliance with VA and HIPPA privacy standards. Knightscope Security Robots do not replace human Security Professionals; they extend the team’s situational awareness and visible crime deterrent.

The Veterans Administration is moving forward with its own Digital VA initiative. This comes at a critical time as the VA faces the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Several other VA facilities are evaluating Knightscope Robots. We look forward to reporting the progress of this groundbreaking VA Security effort and the many ways it will be protecting our Veterans!

The Ai4 Cybersecurity Conference in NYC was an eye opening experience for those exploring the digital media touch-points in AI across multiple sectors. It's obvious that defense analysts can't operate without high resolution images and data analysts require data visualization to make use of graphical databases.. Digital Media tools and Artificial Intelligence have only scratched the surface of possibilities.
