With the ever-changing technology and need for faster, more reliable services, Chippewa Valley Electric Cooperative (CVEC), located in Cornell, WI and Citizens Connected, located in New Auburn, WI have joined together with the goal of bringing Fiber-Fast broadband services to underserved areas throughout the Chippewa Valley. CVEC and Citizens Connected are excited to announce their joint venture,

Ntera. Ntera will begin the first phase of construction to the Holcombe area in the fall of 2017 with expansion plans to follow. Surveys conducted by both CVEC and Citizens Connected have identified Holcombe as one of the many areas in the Chippewa Valley that have no internet access, or limited access at best. Ntera’s mission is to provide homes and businesses with leading-edge Internet, Video, and Voice services through a 100% fiber optic network. Ntera will provide Fiber-Fast Internet with speeds up to 1 Gig.

We are continuing to experience an outage of all our Minneapolis Local channels due to a feed issue to our head end.

The issue is being actively investigated, restoration time is estimated 3-4 hours.
