We, Computer Geeks are writing to inform you that Avast's file level backup service is being discontinued July 1st, 2023. However, the Avast Antivirus will still be available. We are excited to offer you a new and improved option for your backup needs. Computer Geeks understands the importance of keeping your files safe and secure. We want to ensure that you have a reliable solution in place.
Computer Geeks has partnered with a leading backup service provider, to offer you a seamless transition to their platform. We will be offering (3) new options. All service will still include the Avast Antivirus Software.
1st Option: Basic Workstation, which is documents only, up to 100GB (No Photos, No Program Data Files like QuickBooks etc.) GHD basic is now $10.99 a month. If you are currently on the $9.99 plan you will automatically be moved to Option 1.
2nd Option: Advance Workstation, which includes up to 500 GB. It backs up documents, photos, and program data files like QuickBooks up to 500GB. GHD Advance is now $18.99 a month. If you wish to upgrade to this service, please contact us.
3rd Option: Premier Server, if you have a server, you will automatically be moved to this service. With the new service you will get Up to 2TB File system backup for $100.00 a month. If you don’t need your Server backed up, you will need to contact us. The cost for GHD Server is $25.99 a month with no backups.
All 3 of these services provide better security, enhanced features, increased storage capacity, and self-managed backup. (So you can manage and verify what is being backed up and improve performance to meet your evolving requirements. This is your responsibility, not Computer Geeks’, to verify what is being backed up.) With this new service, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your files are protected and easily recoverable.
