Tech tip of the day:

Be extra cautious and DON'T click on mysterious links that are in emails or Facebook messages. No matter how inflammatory the message may be, you need to be cautious, as attackers will play on your emotions.
It's also getting less common for spelling and grammar errors to appear in phishing emails due to AI being able to correct almost anyone's spelling and grammar.

If you need any help with anything computer-related, give me a call at 334-447-8754 or message this page, and I'll try to fix it ASAP!

If what you are experiencing is a more complicated issue, however, give me a call at 334-447-8754 or message this page, and I'll try to fix it ASAP!

Can't hear any sound from your computer even though the volume's up? Go to the start menu and type in "Services." Click on it, and scroll down to "Windows Audio Endpoint Builder." Right-click it and select "Restart the service." You can also click on the blue Restart next to it once selected.
You'll get a warning that the "Windows Audio" service has to restart as well. Click yes and proceed with the restart. It may take a few moments, but once it's finished restarting, you should have sound.

Tech tip of the day:

Are your Bluetooth devices acting up? If so, go to settings and click on devices. Click on the Bluetooth toggle and leave it off for a few seconds. Once those few seconds have passed, click on the toggle again.
Sometimes, it may just be one device that needs to be reset manually. Click on the malfunctioning device, and "Remove device." You can then add it back under the "Add Bluetooth or other device" option.

If your Bluetooth connections are still messing up or not working at all, give me a call at 334-447-8754 or message this page, and I'll try to fix it ASAP!
