If you have Malwarebytes on your computer and it stopped working last week it was probably caused by a bad Update from Malwarebytes. Unfortunately I have installed this on many of the computers I have worked on in the past. I have been using and recommending this software for many years and they have always been trustworthy until now. The solution is to uninstall and reinstall the program but since the computer is locked up you will probably need me to fix it for you. Anybody who has this problem should contact me as soon as they can and I will attempt to fix everyone's computers as quickly and cheaply as possible TY.

Well friends it seems that my employer decided that they didn't want to pay health benefits for someone over 50 anymore. That's not why they said they were laying me off but they now have an add in the paper for my old job so you draw your own conclusions. I have no doubt that the person they hire will be as young as possible and possibly still on their parents insurance and willing to work for minimum wage.

So I'm back to working for myself. The good news is that they provided me a pretty good education and I now know and can repair a bunch more equipment.

I can now repair any Windows PC as well as most Apple Products. Tablets and cell phones are a real possibility as well. Some require special tools that I may not have yet but I'm working on it. My specialty is building gaming machines that will blow you away. I can also repair a bunch of consumer electronic devices such as Flat screen TV's, Monitors and stereo equipment. Printers are usually not worth fixing unless they were very expensive when new (+350.00+).

If you need anything electronic fixed please contact me through Facebook or via phone.

Microsoft says new processors will only work with Windows 10

http://www.theverge.com/2016/1/16/10780876/microsoft-windows-support-policy-new-processors-skylake.

What does this mean for most of you out there. It means that no matter how much you like windows 7 (XP) you are going to have to give it up or stop using computers. You will simply not be able to find a computer for sale that has modern hardware that comes with anything but Windows 10.

Windows 10 is currently a free upgrade for Windows 7 and newer computers but that offer ends on July 29 2016. So if you are going to be forced to accept change you might as well do it when it is free.

There are many guides for the upgrade on the internet but the one thing that you must do is remove your Anti-Virus software before you upgrade. This especially matters if you use the free Norton software from Comcast. You can install anything you want after the upgrade is done.

Soon, if you have a new PC, you won't be able to run Windows 7 or 8. Microsoft has announced an update to its support policy that lays out its plans for future updates to its older operating...

I have noticed that I have been getting a bunch of views on this page even though I haven't updated it since 2003. I have decided that I am going to post more often and specifically post warnings to help people not fall pray to malicious content on the Internet.

Attention: If I installed Windows 8 or 8.1 for you your computer may be about to break. Windows 7 people need not worry you are fine. If I have just worked on your new computer that came with windows 8 you may also be at risk.

Microsoft just released an update that conflicts with a program that I install on just about every computer I work on. This program is called StartIsBack. It adds a start menu likes Windows 7 to Windows 8 computers. If you have this program you need to remove it immediately. If you computer downloads the update before you remove this program you will experience what is called "The Black Screen Of Death". You will have a totally black display with just a mouse pointer in the middle. If is difficult to fix at this point because you can't see anything to fix it. You will probably have to bring it to me for repair and I already have 5 this week. Check now and message me if you are unsure!
