We will be closed this week in New London and our hours for next week will be as follows...

Friday 9/30: 11am-7pm
Saturday 10/01: 11am-7pm
Sunday: 10/02: 11am-5pm

After these 3 days we will be closed indefinitely at our New London location.

The last 4 and a half years of business have been great. The Pad has grown as a business so much. I and Peter have learned a ton over the last few years and built a rather successful shop out of it.

Although with a heavy heart we will be closing the New London store at the end of this month. We have simply just outgrown the location. As much as we would wish to stay it simply just doesn’t make money and after operation costs, it doesn’t make sense to keep the store open. Appleton has been paying largely for New London to continue operating.

New London is a small town and we have done great in it for the last 3 and half years we've been running it. Although over the last year we really found out we lost the biggest thing we had going for us in New London a reason to visit, a reason to take the drive and check out what we have.

We just have way more in Appleton and ended up competing with ourselves if anything. The product we sat on for years in New London. Would move in days in Appleton.

Me and Peter both grew up together in New London and this town and everything we learned from it really means a lot to us. I personally been trying to rationalize a way to keep the doors open outside of just wanting the shop in New London.

This has been a really tough decision because the New London store to us hasn’t been a failure. It has been a success but that success wasn’t for the longevity of the shop in New London it was for a stepping stone for our future. We do plan on expanding The Pad. We got many big plans and goals which we will keep trying to make happen.

Starting now we will be selling some of our shelving and glass cases. If you want some please reach out to us or stop in. Most of the products will be moved over to the Appleton store so there aren’t any plans to liquidate our merchandise.

We thank you guys very much for the support and for being with us as we learned, grew, and served in the wonderful small town of New London. We hope you continue to support us at our Appleton location and over the next month in New London.

Back open again with normal hours!

No plans on any scheduling changes so we should be back on track.

We will remain close this weekend and we will be planning on reopening next week with normal hours starting Wednesday.

We will have some new product going out as well! So definitely come and check us out!

Unfortunately, we will be closed this coming week. A lot going on for our staff at this time and we can't really make ends meet with the schedule. Our intention is we will be back open normal hours starting 8/11 Friday.
